Shimpo-Nidec are manufacturers of gears and variable speed drivetrains. They developed the Shimpo Whisper range to represent the next generation of potter’s wheels. Responsive and powerful, offering high torque at all speeds. The two models that we offer are amongst the quietest on the market and are designed for the European style of throwing. They are both able to be used as table top wheels by removing the height adjustable legs.
