We are happy to give advice before you purchase and hold your hand from a distance for years to come. Lead time for a Rohde kiln to arrive at the UK main warehouse from the factory is 5 to 8 weeks after you have placed a deposit. When it is ready we would book in with you and you would make the final payment. We usually have in stock the most popular Rohde top loaders.

Product Description

Rohde TE165S

  • This OVAL shaped kiln is designed with high insulation for regular use at temperatures suitable for earthenware, high stoneware and porcelain firing.
  • This S range kiln has floor heating to enable a more even firing temperature throughout the kiln, especially useful for tall or wide kilns.
  • Can be taken apart to go through doorways as narrow as 550mm.
  • Reversible kiln stand to lower or raise the kiln.
  • CTM supply the Rohde MCC and S range with the ST411 (32 programme / 32 ramp controller) – most other outlets supply the ST310 controller (2 heating ramp, soak and one controller cooling ramp, then natural cooling). Both of these controllers can connect to your wifi if within range and then to the Rohde My App.
  • This is a 44 amp kiln and would require an electrician fitted dedicated cable from the consumer unit / fuse board
  • Typical lead time for manufacture and shipping to the UK is 6-8 weeks – however, we often have this kiln in stock or already on order – please ask
  • This kiln, if ordered as single phase, does have a separate electrical box from the kiln – please ask for more details.

    Rohde TE165S – 165 litre 44 amp kiln

    • Recommended daily working temperature of up to 1290oC, though will go as high as 1320oC.
    • 10kW, 44 amp power requirement – fitted with a 63 amp blue single phase CEE commando style 3 pin plug and would require an electrician fitted dedicated cable from the consumer unit / fuse board.
    • If this kiln is purchased as a three phase kiln it can be extended in height later to 690mm, 250 litres capacity – but only if the original kiln is three phase.
    • Internal dimensions: 730mm x 630mm oval x 460mm high.
    • External dimensions: 1050mm x 930mm x 790mm, 144kg
