Kilns
Manufacturers’ conditions apply in full. Warranty claims will be passed to the manufacturer to approve before any work in commenced.
Food Safety
The term ‘food safe’ can be misleading as the final fired piece may be affected by a range of factors that suppliers/manufacturers have no control over. For example, firing temperature and contamination. Therefore, we cannot categorically say that a glaze will render your piece food safe. For this reason, makers should test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status.
Kiln Elements
We regret that no guarantee can be given on elements.
Delivery
Delivery and supply dates are given in good faith but such dates shall not be binding and the sellers will be under no liability for any loss or damage of whatever nature caused by any delay.
A guide to carriage charges is shown in the price list for goods to be delivered to the consignees premises. Off-loading and moving into position shall be the purchasers responsibility. If asked our subcontract driver may assist but CTM will not be liable for any damage caused as the driver is not an employee or agent of the company.

Any delivery time slots provided are not guaranteed, due to factors outside of CTM’s control.
When ordering please advise us of your telephone number (and email address if available). Please inform us of any shutdown periods to avoid the risk of extra re-delivery charges. We will endeavour to give advance warning of delivery. Deliveries can be affected by delays due to weather conditions, breakdowns, traffic etc and so may cause some disruption to expected schedules.
In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit or deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt.
