- Kilncare have a solid reputation for high quality, reliable glass annealing and fusing kilns going back 40 years – several years ago they applied their knowledge for energy efficiency and innovative design to electric top loaders for ceramics and developed the IKON range – and are still working on it for further sizes.

- Single phase kilns need an electrician fitted dedicated cable from the consumer unit – fuse board – to an isolator or blue commando socket of the right ampage close to the kiln; and a C Type MCB breaker in the fuse board – not RCBO or RCD type breakers as they are too sensitive.
