The Nabertherm Top 140-R-48 amp pottery kiln – now with the new AC590 50 program / 40 ramp controller – if you are looking for a fairly wide, fairly tall powerful kiln for full stoneware and porcelain this could be the perfect kiln for your workshop. Attractive design with good firing results. This top loader is perfectly suited for a workshop studio. Internal dimensions 550mm diameter x 570mm tall – a good shape enabling it to be fairly wide and tall and with 48 amps is a powerful kiln suitable for studio production. Also available as a 3-Phase kiln. Please speak to your electrician to ensure that you have 48 amps available before ordering this kiln.

- Single phase kilns need an electrician fitted dedicated cable from the consumer unit – fuse board – to an isolator or blue commando socket of the right ampage close to the kiln; and a C Type MCB breaker in the fuse board – not RCBO or RCD type breakers as they are too sensitive. Please check with us which blue commando socket to use.
