Kilncare Ikon V80 – Single Phase – 25 amp High Firing Top Loading Kiln
- Kilncare have a solid reputation for high quality, reliable glass annealing and fusing kilns going back 40 years – several years ago they applied their knowledge for energy efficiency and innovative design to electric top loaders for ceramics and developed the IKON range – and are still working on it for further sizes.
- New line : Kilncare use a high insulating Micropore board in their V61-GXR, V80 and V100 models
- These kilns are produced in Stoke on Trent using locally manufactured controllers and a heritage of quality to make a premium kiln.
- Kilncare’s own service engineers are available to maintain the kilns and supply spare parts and elements

- Single phase kilns need an electrician fitted dedicated cable from the consumer unit – fuse board – to an isolator or blue commando socket of the right ampage close to the kiln; and a C Type MCB breaker in the fuse board – preferably not RCBO or RCD type breakers as they can be too sensitive.
