Understanding Nabertherm controller options
The standard Nabertherm controller is the B500 controller has 5 program controller. It has 4 heating / cooling ramps and soaks which is sufficient for most people
The optional C540 has 10 program slots and a flexible 20 ramps which is valuable if you are doing crystal glazes or glass fusing or intricate pieces that need very gentle cooling rates. Also good for larger kilns that might need help eliminating the effect of cooler areas / heat rising.
These controllers are hard wired into the kiln and would need to be decided on before ordering the kiln.
Both the B500 and C540 controllers are Wifi capable (subject to being close enough to your router) and can then attach to the Nabertherm App for monitoring and recording of information.
