Rohde Ecotop 43S – 16A
- Designed for continuous and regular use at temperatures suitable for earthenware, stoneware and porcelain firing.
- 2-layer insulation concept with 35mm microporous board making this one of the most insulated kiln range available significantly reducing heat losses and energy usage.
- Reversible kiln stand to lower or raise the kiln.
- Rohde kilns come as standard with the ST310 controller – with 32 program slots, each with two heating ramps, soak, one controlled cooling ramp and then natural cooling; it can be upgraded at the time of ordering the kiln to the ST411 controller which has 32 heating/cooling ramps and each ramp can have a soak. Both of the controllers can connect to your wifi if within range and then to the Rohde My App.
- This is a 16 amp kiln and would require an electrician fitted dedicated cable from the consumer unit / fuse board
- The CTM 3 shelf set has 3 shelves instead of 2, has extra props including connectors and batt wash and costs no more than the standard Rohde set despite having about £40 extra items.
- Single phase kilns need an electrician fitted dedicated cable from the consumer unit – fuse board – to an isolator or blue commando socket of the right ampage close to the kiln; and a C Type MCB breaker in the fuse board – not RCBO or RCD type breakers as they are too sensitive. Please check with us which blue commando socket to use. We strongly recommend your electrican contacting us before any installation of cables etc.
